Are You a Bully?

I'm guessing your answer to that is probably a solid, "No!"  When we think about a bully, we usually think of some big mean kid that throws insults and threatens us with physical pain.  A bully is totally appalling and  someone that when we see coming we want to go the opposite direction in order to not cross paths with this hateful awful person.

Truth is though you might just be a bully, only you aren't bullying other people.  You are bullying yourself.  What are the things that you are saying to yourself?  Are those insults just as bad as anything a bully would say to you?  Or maybe they are even worse because your own personal bully knows your inner most secrets.  This bully knows everything about you, if you think you're too fat, not pretty enough, not smart enough, not feeling confident, not feeling loved and worst of all what you fear the most.  The bully even remembers things from the past that you feel bad about and will use them against you.

Start being your own best friend!

As you go about your day take note of the negative things you say to yourself.  Then one at a time begin working on positive affirmations in that area, first you'll begin to negate those thought patterns and when you keep working on it you will eventually replace them.  If you aren't sure where to start or what you want to say to yourself try,  I love and accept myself.

For those things that you have done in the past that you feel bad  or guilty about, maybe you insulted someone or maybe you are beating yourself up because you think you said something stupid.  Use the affirmation, I forgive the world, the world forgives me and I forgive myself.  Say it over and over until the negative feeling subsides.

Raising Your Deserve Level - Focus on Yourself

"Why not me?"  This is a common question many people ask themselves.  Often times we look around and see on the surface what other people have and it becomes a frustration that festers.  As we concentrate on what others have and what we lack, we manifest more lack in our own lives. As a result, we begin to feel less than and that can lead to depression and health problems.

In order to have a prosper and healthy life we need to concentrate on our own lives, which made me think of The 10th Commandment, which states:  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor’s.

Begin today being thankful for all the things you do have, when thoughts of envy or wonder about what others have say to yourself, "cancel, cancel, cancel".  Don't compare what you have to what others have, begin to know that God is the provider of all things and that He does not discriminate!  "Before they call, I will answer" - Isaiah 65:24  God already has more blessings for you than you can possibly imagine.  Know that you deserve them, accept them as yours and expect them.

I deserve, accept and except all the wonderful blessings that God already has for me.

Daily Affirmation - Solving Problems

From the book Grow Rich While You Sleep

"It is not our problems which disturb us; it is our lack of faith in our ability to solve them."

Whether it's lack of faith or knowledge, God knows the answer and we can ask that it be shown to us.  At the same time we need to quiet the worry of our mind and listen for the answer from our hearts.

Here's the affirmation from the book to do so:

"I am at peace with myself and the world. Problems facing me are no longer disturbing because I have made contact with my true source of intelligence and power.  I am guided to do the right thing at the right time."

Turning Your Life Around - General Positive Affirmation

There are times when we all find ourselves in a negative state of mind.  This can be in any area of your life, a relationship, work or business, or a money problems.  Sadly when we have a problem we tend to focus on it rather than all the good things around us.

If you find yourself polluting all the good things in life with the problem, that problem can create more difficulties in other areas of your life.  As an example, if you are having financial problems the way you handle it can have a negative affect on your marriage.  There are times when saying a specific positive affirmation feels more like a lie and hardly believable and if anything that affirmation might just compound the problem with making you more angry.

We are all human and it happens.  For myself when I have these sorts of days or times I like to use the below affirmation. It's a combination of many affirmations that I've found over the years and joined together.

Use it whenever your thoughts are creeping in the wrong direction, repeating it as often as needed or over and over as you fall asleep at night.

I forgive the world, the world forgives me and I forgive myself.  I release any resistance and I accept the good God has for me now.

Daily Affirmation

"Any time a negative thought tries to enter your mind, cancel it out and implant a positive affirmation in its place. For example: Old thinking "Oh, there is never enough money." "Cancel, cancel, cancel." "Cancel, cancel, cancel." and now repeat "I am prosperous, I am prosperous. I have plenty of money now to pay any bill I need to pay and have plenty of money left over to spare and share." My income now doubles, my cash supply is increasing, increasing, increasing." from Simple Solutions Within You

Daily Affirmation

"In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete.  I now choose calmly and objectively to see my old patterns, and I am willing to make changes.  I am teachable.  I can learn. I am willing to change.  I choose to have fun doing this.  I choose to react as though I have found a treasure when I discover something else to release.  I see and feel myself changing moment by moment. Thoughts no longer have any power over me.  I am the power in the world. I choose to be free.  All is well in my world". You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay

Book Quotes - The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity by Catherine Ponder

From The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity:
"The amazing thing is that of millions of people who think they want to be successful, few of them have any really strong, impelling desires.  They have been content to idly drift in a stream of small events and small expectations.  When you meet a person who is really going places in this world, usually it is a person of intense desire for the highest and best in life. One of the basic statements I have often asked people to use to help expand and intensify their constructive desires is:  I desire the highest and best in life, and I now draw the highest and best to me."
