There is Only One Power

From Telepsychics: Tapping Your Hidden Subconscious Powers by Joseph Murphy:

Telepsychics: Tapping Your Hidden Subconscious PowersThe most important truth you can learn is that there is only one power.  This power is omnipresent and, being thus, it must be within you - the very life of you.  When you use this power constructively and harmoniously and according to its inner nature, men call it God, or good.  When you use this power within negatively or destructively, men call it by such names as devil, satan, evil, hell, misfortune, etc.  Be honest with yourself and as yourself this simple question: "How am I using the power within me?" and right there you have the answer to your own problem. It is as simple as that.

I read Telepsychics cover to cover yesterday.  Those of us who study The Law of Attraction know it is always present and always working.  The first book I ever read on the subject was The Power of Your Subconscious Mind  which is another incredible book by Joseph Murphy.  Knowing The Law and applying The Law are two different things though.  In each and every book I read on the subject I find more and more inspiring ways of looking at life and the power of God.

Leave a comment and share what book(s) you have found real inspiration in.

The News and How It Shapes Your Views

In the last post, Being The Boss of Your Subconscious Mind, we talked about using the power of visualization to attract things we want and how your subconscious has a built in reference guide.

Today we are going to talk about attracting things through default.  We do this when our emotions react to outside influences.  We need to be consciously aware of the outside world but we also need to choose what we accept to be Truth.

Watching the news on any given day could give rise to emotions that your financial situation is doomed. I was talking to a business owner a couple of weeks ago.  He had been working on a pretty big sale that would earn him a large commission, then he said, "But I'm not so sure about it, what with the price of gas going up along with everything else. People just don't have the money to spend."  It's times like that I just want to ask people if they hear what they are actually saying.  Not only is he saying it but from his body language I could tell he was emotionally attached to the statement.  If he let's that belief take hold he will surely sabotage the deal, but in his mind it wouldn't have been his fault but the fault of the economy.

There's nothing wrong with watching the news and being informed.  The problem is when you get emotionally involved and start living according to the influence rather than using your own power of creative thinking to shape your own personal experiences.

There are so many people that thrive personally in a bad economy.  I remember when I first started out on my own and moved into my own place.  I was out buying furniture, going out on the weekends, shopping at the mall.  Why?  Because my personal economy was doing just fine.  I honestly didn't have a clue what the "recession" meant and why I should even care about it.  Ahh, there are times that ignorance is bliss because it surely shows that our own beliefs are a strong force to shape our personal world in wonderful ways.

One of my favorite quotes is by Zig Ziglar - "There's not a lot you can do about the national economy but there is a lot you can do about your personal economy."

Raising Your Deserve Level - Focus on Yourself

"Why not me?"  This is a common question many people ask themselves.  Often times we look around and see on the surface what other people have and it becomes a frustration that festers.  As we concentrate on what others have and what we lack, we manifest more lack in our own lives. As a result, we begin to feel less than and that can lead to depression and health problems.

In order to have a prosper and healthy life we need to concentrate on our own lives, which made me think of The 10th Commandment, which states:  Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor’s.

Begin today being thankful for all the things you do have, when thoughts of envy or wonder about what others have say to yourself, "cancel, cancel, cancel".  Don't compare what you have to what others have, begin to know that God is the provider of all things and that He does not discriminate!  "Before they call, I will answer" - Isaiah 65:24  God already has more blessings for you than you can possibly imagine.  Know that you deserve them, accept them as yours and expect them.

I deserve, accept and except all the wonderful blessings that God already has for me.

Gratitude is The Antidepressant

You know that you can change the way you are feeling in just minutes! Even better not only is it fast, it's free!

All too often we give way too much attention to the things in life that aren't good.  Whether it's debt or a relationship problem with a friend, family or even a coworker.  Think about that?  Why? Why would we allow ourselves to waste our precious time on this planet to think about things or people that we don't feel good about. Those things and people will always be a part of our lives but we don't have to give them our time and energy.

You can change your life right now, right this minute by choosing to give less of your time and energy those negative situations and/or people by beginning to focus on the good and wonderful things you have in your life.  What are you truly grateful for?  Be honest with yourself! Feel the feeling of how blessed you really are.  Start thinking of all the wonderful people and things in your life.  No Eeyores allowed! It doesn't work if you moan out, I'm grateful for my family.  No!  You have to feel it and know in your heart how precious life is how wonderful the things you have are.

There are opportunities to be grateful at every turn.

Make a list start with loved ones, mentors, then move onto things.  They don't have to be things that are big. Yes, I'm thankful for my home and I feel so blessed but there are those little things in life to be grateful for also. Things that we overlook when we are too consumed with the negative.  I start my day with being oh so grateful for the hot shower I'm taking.  Thank God for the people that came before me that invented and built the means by which I enjoy that warm soothing moment every morning! Ahhh!

Start now making the list and you will be amazed how quickly you will feel uplifted!  This comes with lasting benefits as well because the more you are thankful, the more you will have to be thankful for.

Turning Your Life Around - General Positive Affirmation

There are times when we all find ourselves in a negative state of mind.  This can be in any area of your life, a relationship, work or business, or a money problems.  Sadly when we have a problem we tend to focus on it rather than all the good things around us.

If you find yourself polluting all the good things in life with the problem, that problem can create more difficulties in other areas of your life.  As an example, if you are having financial problems the way you handle it can have a negative affect on your marriage.  There are times when saying a specific positive affirmation feels more like a lie and hardly believable and if anything that affirmation might just compound the problem with making you more angry.

We are all human and it happens.  For myself when I have these sorts of days or times I like to use the below affirmation. It's a combination of many affirmations that I've found over the years and joined together.

Use it whenever your thoughts are creeping in the wrong direction, repeating it as often as needed or over and over as you fall asleep at night.

I forgive the world, the world forgives me and I forgive myself.  I release any resistance and I accept the good God has for me now.

Wise Words

"As you diligently work to think the positive thought, speak the constructive word, and hold the creative success-images in your mind, your whole life will begin to vibrate with the dynamic power of prosperity. The law is, you can have all you can expect and accept." - Spiritual Economics: The Principles and Process of True Prosperity by Eric Butterworth

Using Candles to Attract Positive Energy

Candles emit positive energy and convey to the universe your intentions. Below you will find a list of colors and what they attract. Black candles serve to dissolve the negative energies, however; black should always be burned with another color in order to bring forth balance.

Green: abundance, growth and health

Yellow: intellect, wisdom and honor

Red: energy, vitality, and strength

White: purity, innocence, clarity and unity

Pink: devotion, love, tenderness and faith

Gold: enlightenment, protection and Divine Mother

Lavender: Mother consciousness, manifestation and selflessness

Blue: communication, truth, peace, and Divine Mother

Orange: cleanses negative attitudes, situations and places

Brown: material prosperity

Purple: use with white candle to neutralize effects of karma and ego

Rose: compassion for self and others, higher mystical powers, humor

Peach: restoration and rejuvenation

Ivory (beige): neutrality, balance and harmlessness

Black: Burning black with any other color disolves negative energies!

*Tip: Halloween is always a great time to find black votive candles!

One more thing you may do is burn a bayberry candle -

Light and burn a Bayberry candle and let it burn til the end so you might want to get a short candle or taper. Say this poem: A Bayberry candle when burned to the socket bring luck to my home and money in my pocket. from Where Heaven and Earth Meet
